During our visit to Versailles, we were introduced to several exciting innovations soon to join the UK portfolio:

EVIDENCE IN PRACTICE: WHY BARRIER SUPPORT MATTERS
Emerging clinical evidence continues to highlight the importance of supporting the skin barrier alongside topical protocols. A recent study evaluating a dermatology spray formulation (including Sensiderm® Spray) showed a measurable increase in skin hydration within hours of application, with effects maintained for at least 24 hours and no reported adverse reactions.
For veterinary teams, this reinforces a simple but important principle: effective dermatology management isn't just about cleansing it's about what comes next. Supporting hydration and barrier function can play a valuable role in day-to-day case management.
A newly published study in Veterinary Dermatology (2026) evaluated a moisturising spray used following chlorhexidine/miconazole bathing.
Key findings:
• Skin hydration increased within 1–2 hours
• Peak hydration at 6 hours
• Maintained for ≥24 hours
• No treatment-related adverse effects observed
