Samaxia 2026: What a Year So Far!
It's hard to believe we're already well into the second half of 2026.
For Samaxia, it has been an incredibly exciting year of growth, new products, new customers, new partnerships and – most importantly – continuing to build a business that brings innovative, practical and affordable solutions to veterinary practices across the UK.
And we're certainly not slowing down!

Growth also means building the team behind Samaxia.
This year Max Williamson has stepped into the role of Business Development Manager, taking greater responsibility for developing our customer, buying-group and commercial partnerships across the UK.
We've also welcomed Sue into the business on a part-time basis, providing additional operational support as our order volumes and customer base continue to grow.

OPHTHALMOLOGY CONTINUES TO GROW
Our ophthalmology portfolio has become an increasingly important part of Samaxia, with continued growth in demand from veterinary practices across the UK.
Alongside Lacri+® Eye Drops and LacriProtect®, we've expanded the range further during 2026, giving veterinary teams access to an increasingly comprehensive choice of practical eye-care solutions.
Lacri+® Eye Drops
Preservative-free eye drops containing 0.4% cross-linked sodium hyaluronate and urea, supplied in a multi-dose bottle.
LacriProtect®
Preservative-free carbomer eye gel supplied in convenient individual pipettes.
NEW: Lacri+® Vitamin A
A preservative-free Vitamin A ophthalmic ointment for cats and dogs – one of the newest additions to our UK ophthalmology range.
NEW: Lacrynet®
Convenient cleansing wipes for the periocular area, complementing our growing eye-care portfolio.
We've been delighted by the early response to these latest additions and particularly encouraged to see practices returning to reorder.

As sales have increased, we've substantially increased our UK stockholding too – helping us support our customers and wholesalers with confidence in continuity of supply.

One of the biggest highlights of 2026 has been seeing Sani-99™ For Vets recognised nationally as Best Pet Safety Product 2026.
Our aim with Sani-99™ has always been simple: to give veterinary practices an effective and practical approach to everyday infection control, while also encouraging teams to think about the wider environmental impact of the products they use.
