Honeyderm: Sticky stuff!...
Very sticky makes it difficult to apply but did make a difference to my dogs split ear
Buccaclean Dental Gel: Using my finger...
My cat loves the taste. Instead of brushing this i give it on my finger for her to lick. She then chews my finger!
It tastes to me like banana flavour.
So its done me no harm.
Expensive at 19 pounds. Soon goes. Given at night before bed so the liquid stays in her mouth over night.
I give it in small doses on my finger tip.
Buccaclean Dental Gel: Very Good!!...
Good stuff, helped my cat after loosing tooth, makes gums more stronger
K for Cat: Easy to give/eat!...

Lyla is doing SO well on the Palmidol!...
‘ Lyla is doing SO well on the Palmidol! She’s been constantly zooming around for the last 4-5 days! She’s bouncy and energetic on every single walk (she used to be very stiff and ploddy for days after a bouncy walk)’
Keratoderm Shampoo: "Great shampoo for problem skin!"...
This shampoo comes in a tube containg 200mls.
It appears to be a good quality product, although a lot of the information is in another language.
I just applied it in the usual way, making sure to avoid the eyes and mouth.
It lathered up well and went on easily.
There was a faint scent but nothing overpowering.
I paid particular attention to my dog's paws as he's suffering from a yeast build up.
The write up said it was particularly useful for this, as it helps deal with skin prone to microbial overgrowth. It also supports skin balance and restores a healthy skin barrier.
It's non-irritating and non-drying, and the mild base means it doesn't strip essential oils, making it ideal for regular use.
My Staffy's paws have been a bit sore and crusty, with that cheesy doritos smell, that usually indicates a yeast flare up!
The shampoo seemed to be really gentle and nourishing, and the results are looking promising so far. I thinks it's helped to relieve the endless cycle of itching, and it doesn't seem to have caused any extra irritation. The skin/hair on his body was a bit greasy and that's shown real improvement. It's much cleaner, and looks and feels healthy again.
I'm hoping the results will keep getting better with continued use, but I'm impressed so far.
It's quite expensive, but it's a decent sized tube, and way cheaper than a visit to the Vet's! If it keeps helping, it's definitely value for money.
Obviously, if you're concerned about your dog, you should take them to the vets though!
I have already been, but the prescribed treatments seemed to make things worse, so I was desperate to try anything that might help.
I'll carry on using this and update if I have any relevant new information.
Sensiderm Spray: Does the job, well....
This spray is easy to use and a good option for pets with sensitive skin. I like that it doesn’t have a strong scent, so my dog doesn’t react to it the way he has with some fragranced products. It sprays evenly, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue, which makes it simple to apply without a fuss. I’ve noticed that it helps calm down mild irritation and dryness, especially on spots that tend to get itchy.
Keratoderm Shampoo: "Good thinner mixture, nice smell and lathers lovely!...
Smells lovely and it quite thin which I prefer in a dog shampoo as waiting for the thicker stuff to run out whilst your dog is also trying to run out can get tiresome, so a good thinner shampoo is welcomed.
This also lathers up nicely and so far working well on my shihtzu which currently has a very itchy flaky body (going through testing to see if it’s diet, environment or ear infection related) in the meantime this shampoo is helping soothe the skin whilst the steroids are keeping the symptoms at bay.
Also works good in the shampoo foamer
Keratoderm Shampoo:" Nice shampoo for dogs."...
Rubs up into a nice foam. Good smell and washed out easily. Seems to have reduced to irritation on my dogs tummy
Keratoderm Shampoo: "Great shampoo to avoid aggravating sensitive skin"...
I tried this on my cat who tends to get a greasy coat, and it made a noticeable difference after just a few washes. It foams enough to clean properly but isn’t harsh, and her fur stayed fresher for longer than usual. The flaky skin has also improved, which makes grooming a lot easier. There is a subtle and inoffensive smell.
The packaging is practical and doesn’t leak, which is something I always look out for with pet shampoos. It’s a specialist product, but I’m glad I picked it up because it actually works.
Sensiderm Shampoo: "Worked really well for my cats"...
I got this for my two cats who have sensitive skin. It’s gentle, no strong smell, and easy to use. After applying it, their fur looked clean and fresh, and their skin seems calmer too. Handy tube and no leaks either, so I’m happy with it.
Sensiderm Balm: "Very effective option for dry spots"...
We've been using this for a few weeks now, and I am impressed with the results for helping with dry spots on the dog and it's definitely effective and seems to be lick proof so far. I’ve been using this balm on my dog’s paws and nose, and it really does help with dryness. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feel, which makes it easy to apply without him slipping around. I like that it’s safe if he licks it, so I don’t have to worry after applying. After a few days of use, I noticed his pads looked softer and less cracked. The tube is a good size for carrying around too, so it’s handy when we’re out and about.
Sensiderm Balm: "Paw-some relief in a tube!"...
This balm is a game-changer for itchy, rough paws! My dog’s allergy flare-ups left her biting and chewing constantly, but after just a couple of uses, her paws are softer, calmer, and much happier.
It moisturizes with shea butter, soothes redness and itch, and has two bonus perks: it’s non-greasy (no slipping or frantic sock-chasing before the zoomies) and lick-safe (phew!).
The tube is small and a bit pricey at £17, but a little goes a long way, making it last. Perfect for paws, noses, or any irritated spots.
If your dog has rough skin, redness, or just needs some TLC, this balm is paws-itively perfect for everyday care and flare-ups alike!
Keratoderm shampoo: "Good quality shampoo for irritated skin"...
I ordered this shampoo as my dog is crossed with a hairless breed, and due to this has areas that has no hair and very sensitive skin. He suffers with dryness and gets oil filled pores in the same areas. Very difficult to keep on top of!
The ingredients look to be good and with a quick search, this brand appears to be trustworthy and good quality.
The shampoo arrived sealed and has a light fragrance, typical of other dog shampoos that I've used previously. I lathered this up on my dog and left for 5 minutes as instructed (it was fun trying to keep him occupied during this time) then rinsed it off.
He was clean and fresh and his hair was normal to brush. His irritation appears to be slightly improved but I expect better results over continued use. I'll update my review when he's had a few more washes but it's looking promising.
Sensiderm Shampoo: "Worked really well for my cats"...
This was for a family member’s cat who struggles with sensitive skin, and I wanted something that wouldn’t make things worse. The shampoo is fragrance-free, which I think is a good choice for pets prone to irritation. It lathers lightly and rinses out fairly easily, which is important when dealing with a cat who isn’t exactly thrilled about bath time.
After a couple of washes, the skin does seem calmer and the coat feels softer, without any dryness or itching afterwards. It’s not a miracle fix, but it does its job well enough and doesn’t cause flare-ups, which is the main thing.
The tube feels sturdy and hasn’t leaked, even when knocked about a bit in the cupboard, so that’s a plus. At 200ml it’s not a huge amount, so if you’ve got a larger dog you’ll probably get through it quite quickly, but for cats or smaller pets it lasts reasonably well.
Price-wise, it is a little on the expensive side for the size, but I think it’s fair if you need something specifically gentle and reliable. A pump bottle would make it easier to use with one hand, but that’s a small improvement suggestion.
Overall, a well-made, trustworthy shampoo that keeps things simple and safe for pets with sensitive skin.
Sensiderm Balm: "Gentle, Soothing and Effective Cream for Crusted Noses"...
My West Highland Terrier has a hard, crusty nose which may be due to a combination of sun exposure and rubbing her face into hard ground and grass, something she just loves to do. I've used other balms and creams but this one is specifically designed to treat the condition, and it's used by vets. It's very light and odourless. Only a minuscule amount is needed to treat the area. It absorbs quickly into her nose and settles into the cracked skin to get to work. Although she does lick a little afterwards, it doesn't come off. It must feel soothing, and I think, because it has no fragrance, the temptation to taste it simply isn't there. She doesn't mind me applying it and she doesn't try to remove it. I'm really happy with this product. It's so kind and gentle. It's working to soften and hydrate her dry nose and as the use by date is a year away, it will last long enough to see her through the summer and over the winter too to treat both nose and paws.
Sensiderm Balm: "Good to keep in!"...
This has been put in my dog's first aid kit.. Occasionally, she will have an itchy spot, but none at the moment, so it's good to have it in. We have just had a heatwave with lots of sun, but no more now, so at least if the sun comes out again, I will have this to put on her nose to protect it.
